Wood vinegar, also known as pyroligneous acid or mokusaku, is the liquid condensate captured during the slow pyrolysis of wood and other plant biomass. It contains a balanced spectrum of organic acids, phenols, esters, alcohols, and ketones that act as natural biostimulants, microbial regulators, and compost accelerants.
