Operating information
- Check if the meter is equipped with one 9 Volt battery.
- Connect the pH and EC electrodes to the instrument.
- Remove the pH and EC electrodes protective cap.
- Press the on/off button to turn on the meter.
- Immerse the pH and EC electrode in the fluid you would like to test and stir gently until the reading stabilises.
- Press the Temp button to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
- Press the MODE button to cycle through measurements of pH, EC, TDS and PPM.
- Press the HOLD button to save the measurement. Do not forget to press the HOLD button again when the meter is used once more.
- Turn off the meter after use.
- Rinse the pH and EC electrodes using tap water to minimise contamination.
- Gently dry the electrodes.
- Replace the EC electrode's protective cap.
- Fill the pH electrode's protective cap with storage solution and replace it.
- You can maintain continuous usage of the meter by keeping the electrodes in the testing fluid. Please note, that regular calibration is necessary then. It is crucial to periodically inspect for algae growth and carefully clean the electrodes as required.
